This is a Sniper? As of this writing, there have been nine deaths attributed to the "sniper" in the DC area. I notice that this weasel isn't taking potshots at anyone in my area, where people are likely to be armed and shoot back. The overwhelmed cops have called in assistance from feddie agencies. And what have those geniuses, the Fumbling Bumbling Incompetents come up with?
FBI HAS ASKED PENTAGON TO SEARCH RECORDS FOR RECENTLY DISCHARGED GI'S WHO HAD GONE THROUGH SNIPER SCHOOL, FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS TELL TIME This is really going to help. Not. According various mainstream news reports, the longest shot in this series as yet was a piddling 100 yards. With something (the cops put on an immediate display of evil, wicked, black guns; the better to demonize useful tools) chambered in .223 Remington; most likely a rifle, since I know of just one handgun chambered for .223. And the Feebs think this is indicative of someone with military sniper training. <giggle> <snort> I won't even go into the issues of whether a "real" sniper would choose to use lightweight round like .223. Or whether a "real" sniper would kill randomly chosen, seemingly innocent victims. That's been covered elsewhere, by plenty of other folks, in great depth. But this: The FBI thinks that the ability to hitting stationary, man-size targets at 100 yards or less, with one shot, requires specialized "sniper" training? If nothing else, I guess this explains their fine display of marksmanship some years back in Florida. <grin> Come the day I can't hit something that size at less than a 100 yards, it'll be time to trade in my rifle for a Seeing Eye dog. For that matter, the cops are even attributing apparent misses to this exemplary shooter. And the FBI sees this klutz as a highly skilled sniper. I've said before, and still do, that the FBI must be disbanded as a truly dangerous threat to life and liberty. In the meantime, at the very least, we'd better take their guns away. Seeing what they consider to be great shooting ability, I wouldn't trust 'em to know which end of a gun to hold.
