On Campus

  • Face Coverings

With Hennepin County, Minnesota, and Ramsey County all ending face covering mandates in the last month, Metro State no longer requires those individuals in campus buildings to wear face coverings. Despite the rapid decline in COVID-19 cases, however, we still ask that students, staff, faculty, and visitors remain respectful of the choices of others who may feel more comfortable wearing face coverings. In addition, the same mitigation techniques that helped bring COVID case counts down remain relevant: maintain physical distancing when possible, wash hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, and stay home if you exhibit symptoms.
